Inspiration

Sometimes you just fancy something a little bit different, beyond the ordinary.

Got itchy feet? and I’m not talking about Athletes foot.

Want to spend some time away escaping the daily grind and looking for something a bit special?

Fancy dipping your toes in the crystal clear waters surrounding Greece and its islands, and see the sun glint from the ocean when you climb from your tent. Want to ride your motorbike through Morrocan landscapes and sit by the campfire surrounded by the desert and a myriad of stars, or dream of sleeping in a safari tent listening to the sound of the African wildlife just on the other side of the canvas…

Fancy listening to the soaring sounds of festival tunes and soaking up the suns rays in Goa, or listening to euro-rock in Budapest surrounded by endless woodland and crisp fresh air…..

Can’t persuade your friends, family or other half to give traditional camping a go. Think that if you can show them something a bit more luxurious such as an authentic gypsy caravan, a railway carriage, or a traditional Mongolian yurt, that they might just give it a try…..

Thinking of packing up your kit bag, putting all your dreams in to action and changing your lifestyle, starting your own campsite, or heading off on your travels and want some inspiration from other people who have ventured out on a different path…..

This section of the website is dedicated to inspiring you to try something a bit different and to encourage you consider the world as your oyster.

Go on…. Get out there and discover the world!!!!!!

Dunster Beach Review

Waddling HomeLooking for something a bit different to your normal camping experience and fancy something a bit retro? Have fond memories of beach huts from your childhood? Dunster Beach is the perfect place to kick back and unwind. Located on the Somerset coast and close to Exmoor it makes a charming alternative to a traditional campsite and the likes of Butlins down the road at Minehead. [Discuss]

The Berg River Resort

In February a group of 12 of us decided to head out to Paarl, on the Western Cape of South Africa for a camping trip. We set off with several tents, all the essentials, and plenty of Boerewors (South African Sausages). We picked a spot with plenty of space for us all and scattered our tents around the braai (bbq/firepit) set up our chairs and a couple of tables on the river side, and started to prepare the nights meal, a huge pot of chilli.
