Bacon & Cheese Macaroni
This pasta recipe can easily be cooked on any small camping stove. Simply store your primula in a cool box with frozen ice packs to keep cool. This is a great camping or festival meal.
Ingredients
125g Smokey Bacon, chopped into little pieces
1 tbsp Olive Oil
1 Small Onion
1 Red Pepper
1 Clove of Garlic
150g Tube Primula Cheese with Ham
3 tbsp milk
170g Macaroni
- Bring a large pan of boiling water to the boil. Add the macaroni and cook until tender. Drain when cooked
- Heat a frying pan and add the bacon pieces. Fry until cooked. Remove the bacon from the pan into a separate dish.
- Heat the olive oil and add the garlic, onion and red pepper. Sauté until tender.
- Add the bacon back to the pan, stir in the cream and Primula.
- Stir in the macaroni and gently heat until warmed through.
- Serve at once.
