The Campingaz Camp Chef has always been a firm favourite of Perfect Pitch Magazine with its built in grill and double burners. However the new version has the added benefit of 4 adjustable legs, meaning that you can easily use this stove whilst sat comfortably in your chair without having to purchase an extra camp kitchen unit or balance the stove on a table. The power of this stove always means that you can get an early morning cuppa within minutes and the run time ensures that this kitchen enables you to cook a variety of meals before having to change the gas. The only negative about this unit is the size of the Butane cylinders that you have to use with the stove as they are hard to carry when at a festival. However if you have a trolley this isn’t an issue. This new version of the Camping Chef also comes with a handy carry bag which everything apart from the gas canister packs up in to for tidy storage. The legs are strapped to the bottom of the bag, it would have been better if they were stored inside. We’ve cooked Full English Breakfasts, Chilli’s, Pancakes and a multitude of festival food on this stove and the Camping Chef will always have a place in our camp set up.
