Festivals

So put your hands up in the air if you are a festival addict, or would like to be…

We live for the summer and those long awaited weekends where you pack up your bags, load your car with camping goodies, pick up your mates and head to your chosen festival. There’s nothing like the excitement that builds up in those days before, and the moments before you arrive.

We all spend most of the year planning which festivals we’ll be attending, who is going with us, what we want to take and who’s taking what, where we’ll meet, what bands we want to see and counting down the days until that magic moment arrives.

We’ve been going to festivals since our teens. We’ve seen a variety of music, visited many festival sites, heard numerous stories, met some fantastic people, and intend to continue to do so for the rest of our lives.

This part of the website is totally dedicated to the Great British music festival and all that it entails to camp at a festival. We’ve also added a few other exciting events as well, such as beer festivals and any other events that we believe are worth you attending due to the camping element.

There are many websites out there where you can find out information about festivals. However, this website space is totally dedicated to camping at festivals and ensuring that you get the most out of your festival and experience.

If you are a festival virgin then this is the place you need to visit for advice and guidance….

If you are a festival pro then please share you’re experiences and advice with the festival newbies….

A festival becomes your village for the time that you are there, and you become part of that community we hope that you come to see Perfect Pitch Magazine as part of your own festival community and we look forward to seeing you at as many of them as possible! Happy festivals !!!!!

See our diary for a list for festivals Perfect Pitch Magazine will be visiting.

Rock Ness 2009 Review

rockness04A weekend of quality music and stunning surroundings at the annual dance festival Rockness. Rockness is located in a natural ampitheatre, and has the fortune of being set in the most magnificent setting of any festival. Nestled on the shores of Loch Ness how can you not be won over by this festival.

Multicoloured sheep, Disco’s in the woods, theatre, cabaret and a top line up – what more could you want?

I can proudly say that I have been to every Latitude festival since it started and I hope that I will be able to continue to say this for years to come. This is Latitude festivals fourth year and it’s shaping up to be yet another success.

Lounge On The Farm Preview

2009logo_2Kent’s ‘bestest’ festival

‘Lounge On The Farm’ returns for it’s fourth year on the weekend of 10-12th July 2009.  2007 established LOTF as a heavyweight festival with a uniquely local twist and 2008 took the extravaganza to the next level.  Well placed on the festival circuit - this is the ‘bestest’ weekend to be had out in Kent this Summer.  Set in the idyllic surrounds of Merton Farm in Canterbury, ‘Lounge On The Farm’s rustic charms will play host to 160 bands spread across 6 stages, from local heroes and cutting edge acts to renowned heavy hitters.

Big Chill Preview

bigchillpreview-04-smallLast year was the first year that I went to the Big Chill Festival and I had one of the best times I have ever had at a festival for years. This year is set to top all of the previous years with a mind blowing and eclectic line-up and other added treats to celebrate its 15th Birthday.
