Festivals

So put your hands up in the air if you are a festival addict, or would like to be…

We live for the summer and those long awaited weekends where you pack up your bags, load your car with camping goodies, pick up your mates and head to your chosen festival. There’s nothing like the excitement that builds up in those days before, and the moments before you arrive.

We all spend most of the year planning which festivals we’ll be attending, who is going with us, what we want to take and who’s taking what, where we’ll meet, what bands we want to see and counting down the days until that magic moment arrives.

We’ve been going to festivals since our teens. We’ve seen a variety of music, visited many festival sites, heard numerous stories, met some fantastic people, and intend to continue to do so for the rest of our lives.

This part of the website is totally dedicated to the Great British music festival and all that it entails to camp at a festival. We’ve also added a few other exciting events as well, such as beer festivals and any other events that we believe are worth you attending due to the camping element.

There are many websites out there where you can find out information about festivals. However, this website space is totally dedicated to camping at festivals and ensuring that you get the most out of your festival and experience.

If you are a festival virgin then this is the place you need to visit for advice and guidance….

If you are a festival pro then please share you’re experiences and advice with the festival newbies….

A festival becomes your village for the time that you are there, and you become part of that community we hope that you come to see Perfect Pitch Magazine as part of your own festival community and we look forward to seeing you at as many of them as possible! Happy festivals !!!!!

See our diary for a list for festivals Perfect Pitch Magazine will be visiting.

Hop Farm Festival Review

hopfarm-001A Young Festival with a top billing line up

Arriving at The Hop Farm festival gave me the impression of arriving at WOMAD festival in the earlier days when it was based at Reading. Hop Farm is set on the site of a family park, the festival makes the most of the family parks permanent features and includes some of it in its layout. When the farm is not being used as a festival site you can camp there anyway, so expectations of the camp site at the festival were high.
